A brilliant bowling display from the Mumbai Indians saw them defeat the Delhi Daredevils by 14 runs at the Wankhede Stadium on Saturday.
Mitchell McClenaghan has been one of Mumbai’s most consistent performances in recent years and he was at it once again, taking three quick wickets to reduce Delhi to 24-6 as the visitors attempted to chase down a target of 143.
The New Zealand pacer was well supported by fellow quicks Mitchell Johnson, Jasprit Bumrah, and Hardik Pandya. Although Johnson did not pick up a wicket, he was very economical – conceding just 23 in his comeback match.
